Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is shaping up to be a super-hero power fantasy for the ages, with players able to play as both Peter Parker and Miles Morales, and with the infamous alien Symbiote suit AKA Venom in the offing. Well, it looks like Insomniac wanted to one-up even themselves, and we got a glimpse at something quite cool, although how it all comes about narratively is anyone's guess.
Posted to the Spider-Man PS4 subReddit, images from licensed toy manufacturer Hot Toys seemingly out that, at some point, Peter will rock both the Symbiote suit and the Iron Spider legs at the same time, which strikes us as somewhat unfair. Click through the gallery below to see the various poses and actions we are looking forward to trying out ourselves when the game launches in October.

Looks rad!!! Based on the trailer the spider legs might actually (eventually) be replaced by symbiote tendrils. In any case the fig looks rad and I can’t wait for insomniac’s sweeeet gameplay 😎 they def know how to do alien effects!
This game is going to do serious numbers even on an install base of 38 million consoles. Wouldn’t surprise me to see five million copies sold in 2 or 3 days
@StrawberryTurtle I think this one is much "bigger" in every way than Final Fantasy.
Really looking forward to this! Loved the the first Spiderman game loads but not so much for Miles game.
It's going to be tough to decide for GOTY with Spiderman 2 and Zelda for me.

I seriously have no clue why Peter has a symbiote suit. The first gameplay reveal (the 10 minute one) showed the black suit first and I though venom has taken over spider man in a bad way. But miles and Peter act like normal. Is this just the black suit from spider man 3? The 10 minute gameplay reveal looked a lot like venom is not the villain in this game, it looked like he let Peter uses him and his powers to fight Kraven.
@LIMA in the 10 minute gameplay trailer you could see how peter's behaviour was changing, like when he saves someone and throws him on the ground and miles is confused. Also, they showed venom in the new trailer from a few days ago.
Yeah he is changing. I don‘t get the connection between the first teaser (both in their red suits, venom teased as the villain) to the 10 minute gameplay (Peter wears venom aka the villain as a suit). What happened between those trailers? Peter gone bad because of venom suit? Why is he wearing venom? Why does miles act like normal when his buddy is wearing venom aka the villain? Is venom teaming up with spider mans? Is he wearing a symbiote like suit, is he wearing venom, or what? I don‘t get it
@LIMA I think the first teaser is not part of the story and is just showing that the game will feature both Spider-Men and venom as the villain, or it's before Peter got his symbiote suit. Then Peter wears the symbiote suit that we see on the gameplay trailer. And then in the game one of 2 things will happen: either the suit will take control and Peter will become venom, or Peter will discard/lose the symbiote suit after realising that he's being corrupted or miles saves him from the symbiote, and then the symbiote will take over a new host and will become venom.
Definitely adds more mystery to the game.. can’t believe I’m getting hyped for another NYC sim.. I’m so sick of New York but it’s looking like I’ll be swinging around it for a 200th time because this story is getting super interesting
