NBA 2K23: Best NBA Team to Pick for Centers

NBA 2K23: Best Center Builds 9
Image: Push Square

Wondering what's the best NBA team to pick for Centers? Once you've finished creating your Center build, you'll need to choose an NBA team to get drafted to in order to start your MyCareer. While you can select your favourite franchise if you'd like to, we do have a few recommendations for you, based on existing rosters and how you can best complement them in your position:

  • Brooklyn Nets: When you've got Power Forward Kevin Durant and Point Guard Kyrie Irving on your team, you've got a chance. The problem with the Nets is that they need a commanding Center to replace current starter Nic Claxton. There's championship potential here, the team just needs a big.
  • Charlotte Hornets: Incumbent starting Center Mason Plumlee is not a bad player by any stretch, but he's the weak link in a team that has star Point Guard LaMello Ball and a pretty good supporting cast. Displace Plumlee and take this rising team to a championship.
  • Golden State Warriors: Playing with Point Guard Steph Curry may seem like a cheat, but despite being NBA champions, the Warriors are actually a little light in the Center position. You'll be working alongside the likes of Shooting Guard Klay Thompson, rebounding, posting up, and generally bullying under the basket.

Ultimately, it's up to you which team you pick, but you'll want to consider the talent around you in order to maximise your progress and earn your Badges as quickly as possible. As a Center you'll be looking to rebound, post-up, and dominate in the paint. Look for teams that are light in the position but have an established supporting cast for you to work in tandem with.
